Remembrance Day Service – Sunday 12 November 2017
The Petts Wood Branch of the Royal British Legion has arranged a Service of Remembrance at St Francis of Assisi Parish Church, Willett Way on Sunday 12 November and afterwards a march to the Garden of Remembrance in Woodland Way for the Silence at 11am followed by a wreath laying ceremony.
The parade will form up in Chatsworth Parade, Queensway, at 9.15am and march off at 9.25am, to arrive at the Church for the service at 9.50am. After the service the Parade will reassemble in Greencourt Road and march off at 10.40am to the Garden of Remembrance. Following the traditional Silence at 11am there will be a wreath laying ceremony with a blessing to conclude the proceedings. Everyone is welcome to attend.
